The BTM Brass Band proudly participated in the Sections 1-4 National Finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain 2024, held on Saturday 14 September, at The Centaur (Cheltenham Racecourse). This prestigious event brought together some of the finest brass bands from across the country, and we were excited to showcase our hard work and dedication on such a grand stage.
Competing against a talented field, BTM delivered a spirited performance that highlighted our musicians' passion and commitment. While we placed 17th out of 19, we are proud of our efforts and the camaraderie that comes from participating in such a significant competition. Each note played and each moment shared contributed to an unforgettable experience.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters, family, and friends who supported our efforts before & throughout the day. Your encouragement means the world to us! We are also grateful for the incredible opportunity to share the stage with so many talented bands and to be part of the vibrant brass band community in this country.
As we look ahead to promotion back up to Championship Section for 2025 and onwards, we remain committed to growth and improvement. The band has a full rehearsal & events schedule going forward, and we are looking forward to the challenges ahead!
