BTM will be competing once again at the Welsh Open Brass Band Entertainment Championships (a contest they last won in 2009), as they continue to build on their solid contest results in 2022.

The Welsh Regional Championships, held each year at the Brangwyn Hall (Swansea), are the qualifying contest for the Finals of the "National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain".
BTM is hoping to once again qualify for the Section 1 Final, and - depending on other results - be in with a chance of promotion to the Championship Section from 2024.
