About us
BTM That's Brass is a modern & unique 10-piece brass ensemble, which performs extensively at various concerts and special occasions. - and has appeared several times on radio and television. The group has also won various national competitions, including the National Eisteddfod of Wales Chamber Ensemble twice.
In the recent past, BTM That's Brass was lucky enough to support the Welsh Rugby Union as the resident “Band in the Stand” for some Welsh rugby international games, and has been asked on numerous occasions to perform on the pitch for prestigious rugby occasions (such as the EDF Energy Cup and the Heineken Cup Final, as well as performing the Welsh National Anthem at some of the Welsh rugby international matches).
We provide personalised performance packages for any occasion, and our specialist in-house team of arrangers are always working on new arrangements. If there is anything specific that you would like us to arrange for your occasion, please let us know.
Our Style
BTM That's Brass provides music for any occasion - the ensemble can perform in a wide range of styles, ranging from film, pop, jazz & swing, rock, classical, and from a variety of decades. As we are based in South Wales, there is also a patriotic feel to some of our pieces!
We can send you a list of music that we already have, and we also have a specialist team of in-house arrangers, who are always working on new arrangements. If there is anything specific that you would like us to arrange for your occasion, please let us know.
BTM That's Brass has a wide range of uniforms that can be utilised according to your event. When booking, please let us know which option you would prefer.
This is the uniform that we wear for most engagements. It is modern & vibrant, and gives the ensemble a distinctive, stylish look. This uniform is great for occasions such as weddings, parties & concerts.
This all-black version of the waistcoat uniform is sleeker than the red version above, and is perfect for "black-tie" events, charity dinners, and so on.
Highly traditional, this formal uniform is ideal for occasions such as prestigious concerts, wedding ceremonies and other church performances.
These three are the most common sets of uniform that we wear. However, we can wear any combination of the following:
