The band spent an enjoyable evening in Porthcawl, playing last (14th) with an eclectic entertainment set spanning multiple genres. Sadly strong opposition and lack of rehearsal time since Preston last month paid their toll, with the band finishing a disappointing 13th place. Despite this, morale is high for the upcoming area competition in March, with the hope that our practise in January and new leadership from Mr Nigel Seaman will help us achieve our first podium finish in 10 years.
