We were once again honoured to lead the Caerphilly Remembrance Sunday Parade on Sunday 10 November.
The BTM Band Society (inc. representatives from The BTM Brass Band and BTM Band: Next Generation) was honoured to lead the Parade, which began at St Martin’s Church, made its way down Cardiff Road and finished at the Cenotaph - next to Visit Caerphilly, and set against the incredible backdrop of Castell Caerffili / Caerphilly Castle (Cadw), with hundreds of people in attendance paying their respects.
Several local groups, organisations and distinguished individuals were involved in the Parade.
What a wonderful and poignant experience this was in particular for members of our “Next Gen”, who conducted themselves admirably all day, as they also performed at the Remembrance Sunday Service in Bedwas.
